In my opinion this is the best studio tour in town as you tour a real working studio in small groups, unlike the big tram that carries you around Universal Studios. You need to pre book your place on a tour and each one takes about 2.5 hours and you get to see real sound stages and props, we ended up on the set of the TV show Friends which had just wrapped shooting. You also get to tour the sets of shows such as ER as well as exterior houses and buildings that have been used in many films and shows. Below are some of the pictures that I took whilst on the tour (for the majority photography was not permitted).
