For Easter this year we decided to go abroad rather than spending it in the UK so we went to New York for four nights.

I was able to get quite a good deal flying with Virgin Atlantic and staying at the Waldorf Astoria using my Hilton HHonors card.

Whilst there we visited as many tourist attractions as we could in the short time.

We were able to visit the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Times Square, The Empire State Building, Wall Street, the site of the World Trade Center, a number of historic churches, the Natural History Museum, the Brooklyn Bridge  as well as do some shopping in the many stores.

The weather was very cold, in fact it was one of the coldest Easters in recent years and we even had some slight snow on the Saturday, so we had to buy some woolly hats and gloves.

Below you can go to any of my photo albums from our stay in New York or watch some videos that we made.

I took this video on the subway at Penn Station in New York, the guy was a really good dancer and looked like that he makes quite a bit of money doing what he does.
