As our hotel was in Kowloon it gave us a great base to explore the local area.  From here we could get the Star Ferry over to Hong Kong or the underground to anywhere we wanted.  

There are lots of markets that come out at night here and we visited the Temple and ladies market, I also got a tailored suit from Sam's Tailors, something that I have wanted for years.

Along the promenade by the water there was a entertainment walk of fame (just like in Hollywood) that had stars of all the famous Asian actors.
