EPCOT is one of my favourite parks in the world, it offers both thrill
rides such as Test Track and Mission Space as well as relaxing ones such as
Living with the Land and Journey Into Imagination. This trip was the first
time that we went on Soarin' which is a new IMAX experience where you have the
feeling of flying in a hand glider over California, an experience not to be
missed. At the beginning of our trip we were fortunate enough to catch the
end of the food and wine festival which allowed us to sample food from around
the world, some of the highlights that I experienced was snails From France,
shrimps on the bbq from Australia, bobotie from South Africa and many many
more. The best experience that I had this trip would was Dive Quest, this
is where you actually get to dive in the Living Seas Pavilion. I have
always wanted to do this and now ordinary tourists (with a diving certificate)
can do it. After having a lecture back stage and getting changed into
wetsuits I spent 45 minutes in the water where you actually become part of the
attraction, I don't think that I have waved so much in my life and everyone on
the outside takes your picture, it was a great experience. Itis not cheap
but I would highly recommend it.
Below are some of the photographs that I took in the park, but due to a
memory card becoming corrupted on my digital camera, I lost about 300 photos
from EPCOT from a day that I went to the park specifically to take pictures, to
say that I was a bit upset is an understatement.
