Alan Bean was the 4th man to walk on the Moon during the Apollo 12 mission back in 1969 and later Commanded the second manned Skylab Mission in 1973. He also is an accomplished artist.

I was able to meet Capt. Bean when he appeared at the Autographica 2000 convention in Northampton in May 2000.
